Hello Everyone!

Painting of Power Nap

What a challenge this past year has been for everyone! We look forward to better times ahead.

Over 50 years ago now I did my first oil painting. I could never have envisioned that painting would become a full time career for me with the challenges that would come with that. Nor could I have predicted work with a professional artist, Peter Snyder, who would become a mentor, or the shows throughout southern Ontario. Also, more recently the 40th Annual La Cloche Art Show where I won 1st in Oil category for one of my paintings and in 2019 held an Exhibit in the Legacy Gallery in Owen Sound celebrating 30 years as a professional artist.

Thankfully, these shows were pre COVID! It has been a saving grace to be able to spend part of most days in the studio. I can take myself back to nature, trails, gardens and even other countries visited, by painting them.

With the restrictions of COVID, I have still been able to share some of my paintings on Facebook and LinkedIN and now most of my recent paintings have been posted to this Web Page. My Studio Gallery is open by appointment with the usual safety protocols and you are welcome to visit or call to enquire about the paintings.
